I guess I could say a little about myself:
*My name is Maude but everyone calls me Alex (middle name)
*I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in American Literature which basically means I read all the time. I love it.
*I'm a proud Slytherin, although I only recently discovered that. I like to think I show the softer side of my house! Proof that we're not all mean dark wizards. Friend me on Pottermore, I'm SeerRune9 : )
*I like: fashion, pretty pictures, pretty people, celebrities, pop culture, and nice people
*I dislike: haters, snobs, and generally mean people

Instant reblog for all the sexual tension (mostly on Skars end, let’s be honest…)
Eric: If I meet the true death, without at least kissing you Sookie Stackhouse, that would be my biggest regret.
Sookie: Why does it sound like you’re saying goodbye to me?
Eric: Because I am.

Why are people surprised that Eric is upset with Pam? Why are people upset that Eric would sacrifice himself for Sookie? Does everyone have amnesia?
Godric. Remember him? Eric’s maker. Remember how Eric was flipping out when Godric was missing? He was snapping at everyone. Because he cared about Godric. Because he loves Godric. However, when Godric wanted to die, he ordered Eric to go. Eric didn’t want Godric to die alone; he didn’t want to live in a world without his maker. But when Godric ordered him to go, Eric went. Because that’s how the maker/progeny relationship works.
Pam was put in the same situation. She can’t see a world without Eric. Because he’s her maker and she loves him. But he ordered her and she disobeyed him. So yeah, he’s pissed.
The fact the Pam could have killed Sookie only makes it worse. Like it or not, Eric is in love with Sookie. You can count the number of people Eric genuinely gives a shit about on one hand. Godric, his maker. Pam, his progeny. And Sookie. That’s about it. Does Pam understand how or even why Eric’s in love with Sookie? No, but she doesn’t have to understand it. Eric didn’t understand why Godric wanted to die, but in the end he didn’t stop him. It is her duty as progeny to respect his wishes. In that moment, Eric was willing to sacrifice himself so Sookie could live. That’s his right and Pam should have respected that.
Now why would big, bad Eric want to sacrifice himself for Sookie? The Sookie who just rejected him about five minutes ago? Because he loves her. He wants her to be happy. He wants her to live. This does not make him whipped or emasculated or any of that other bullshit. For someone like Eric - who’s cut himself off emotionally for the better part of a thousand years - to fall in love, to be vulnerable takes an enormous amount of courage. He’s tapping back into his long forgotten humanity and that’s scary as shit. It doesn’t make him different, it just makes him more.
And this isn’t the first time he’s been willing to sacrifice himself. He did it in Dallas too. Sookie said as much. And that was before the amnesia. Sookie’s been important to Eric for a long time now, so we shouldn’t be surprised at the lengths to which he’s willing to go for her. If Pam’s RPG had killed Sookie, I wouldn’t want to see Eric’s wrath. Most likely, Pam would be joining Talbot in the jar. She’s lucky he just yelled at her. But it’s going to take a long time for that relationship to repair itself.
So lay off Eric, everyone. Eric has shown over and over again what he’s willing to do for the people he cares about. And what happens to people who disobey him. Let’s just hope that Alan Ball doesn’t piss all this away by having Sookie choose Bill, because that would really suck.

Sometimes I hate you Alan Ball for giving this fandom reasons to be so obnoxious.

I will not tolerate anti-Sookie bullshit on my dash. No hard feelings, just consider yourself unfollowed if you do.

Honestly, I can’t even. I’m in love with this season. They are just on their fucking GAME. Things about this specific episode I loved:
There is not 3 episodes left. There simply cannot be. I AM SO SAD. This season has been so completely flawfree I want it to stay forever!
So instead of killing that lady, Bill just pushes her away. He then saves Tara from Pam. Eric rips someone’s heart out and is then seeing draining someone else. Which one should Sookie be with?
MARNIE WAS CASTING A SPELL TO MAKE ERIC DO THIS. You all seriously think his normal self would do this? Uh. No.
It was very out of character for Eric.
Dude seriously, did you even pay attention to the show or you just skipped to Bill’s scenes? Did you see that Marnie was casting a spell right? *facepalm*
I don’t know about you guys but Eric ripping someones heart out was pretty fucking hot and the sounds he was making while draining that person it was hot as hell.
It was very out of character for Eric.
It was very out of character for Eric.
It was very out of character for Eric.

omg thank you. I needed a good laugh. I mean honestly, do you guys even watch this show? That was the most in character Eric has been all season.
With all of the “ZOMG ERIC IS SOOOOOO ROMANTIC AND SEXY AND OMMGGGG I LUV HIM SOOO MUCH” going around right now, I feel the need to throw down some support in favor of my main man, Mr. Bill Compton.
Do not mistake me. I squealed like a psycho last night. Sookie and Eric are one of my OTP’s to end all OTP’s. Last night was a shippers DREAM. But I am not an Eric fangirl that also hates on Bill. Because Bill is an amazing man and part of me will always love him.
From the moment Bill takes Eric in custody, you know he feels shitty about this. Any other vampire, Eric included, (fuck, Eric ESPECIALLY) would not have hesitated for a moment. Eric would have smiled and laughed while he plunged that stake into his enemy’s heart. And I am not condemning him for that. But make no mistake: Eric would not have shown Bill the mercy that he was given.
Because Bill is a shitty ass Vampire. He is kind and merciful and good, and lying and manipulating and killing go complete against his nature. He forsook vampire protocol and law so that the human woman he loves, who no longer loves him, could be happy. Yes, he lied. Yes, he used her. But he was a good man stuck in a terrible vampire bullshit position. If he told the truth, he risked everything. Treason. The true death. His love. So he lied. And it cost him Sookie.
For me, Bill was 100% redeemed in this episode. He did the right thing against his vampire nature and I still love him so much. Just…not with Sookie.
